The Porto cluster is named for the city of Porto, Portugal. It covers
much of central Portugal, including some off-shore events. There are no
events larger than magnitude 4.3, so there is very little teleseismic
data. All events are recorded to at least 4.0° and there is abundant
regional data to ~13°. The density of seismograph stations is very high
and the location calibration is very robust. All events have depth
constraint from near-source or local distance readings.
